Azimut Exploration Inc. reports high-grade nickel and platinum group element (PGE) discoveries at the Kukamas Property in Quebec. Initial drilling program results include 8.42% Ni, 0.55% Cu, 7.25 g/t PGE over 1.9 m and 6.06% Ni, 0.38% Cu, 3.34 g/t PGE over 2.6 m. The Property is under an option agreement with KGHM International Ltd.

The Perseus Zone is identified as a significant high-grade nickel and PGE discovery at Kukamas, with similarities to Archean Kambalda-type komatiitic nickel deposits in Australia. The drilling program confirms the potential of the area, with plans for further exploration in 2025. Initial results highlight under-explored nickel targets.

Holes drilled at Perseus Zone reveal significant nickel-PGE mineralization, with notable intercepts like 0.81% Ni, 0.52 g/t PGE over 24.2 m. Sulphide horizons are observed in komatiite volcanics, indicating a fertile system with open-ended mineralization. The Halley showing, 3.8 km south of Perseus, also returns promising nickel, copper, and PGE grades.

The Kukamas Property covers a large area with high-quality nickel targets. The Perseus discovery validates Azimut’s regional-scale predictive modeling for nickel, with the potential for additional discoveries. The Company maintains a strong balance sheet and a solid reputation for mineral exploration in Quebec.

Drilling at Kukamas was conducted by Chibougamau Diamond Drilling Ltd, with samples analyzed at ALS Laboratories. The program was supervised by Azimut’s Vice-President Exploration. The Company’s President and CEO, Dr. Jean-Marc Lulin, serves as the qualified person for technical information.

KGHM International, a subsidiary of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., has an option to acquire an interest in the Kukamas Property. Azimut is a leading mineral exploration company with a diverse portfolio in Quebec. The Elmer Gold Project and other projects show strong exploration potential, supported by innovative data analytics and industry-standard QA/QC procedures.
