Switzerland market closed higher as Trump administration delays trade tariffs. The SMI index ended up 0.39% at 12,037.22, with Kuehne + Nagel and UBS Group gaining. Belimo Holding reported increased net sales, while Zurich Insurance Group closed down. Producer and import prices in Switzerland continued to decline in December, with prices dropping 0.9% year-on-year. The producer price index fell 0.1% annually, and import prices decreased by 2.6%. Prices have been falling since May 2023, but the latest decline was the slowest in fourteen months. Average annual decrease in producer and import prices in 2024 was 1.7%.
