Mexico stocks closed higher on Monday, with the IPC index rising 0.66% to a 1-month high. Top performers included Wal Mart de Mexico, Genomma Lab Internacional, and Controladora Vuela Compania. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico and Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste were among the worst performers. Genomma Lab Internacional reached 5-year highs. Gold and oil prices fell, while USD/MXN dropped to 20.51 and EUR/MXN rose to 21.36. The US Dollar Index Futures was down at 107.92.
