IG Asia LLC has announced encouraging results from initial reconnaissance drilling in Kazakhstan, revealing new copper systems in the Pribrezhniy project license area. The project covers 754 km2 and contains large copper, gold, and molybdenum deposits. Significant mineralization was found in 9 out of 12 drilled holes, with high-grade intersections supporting further exploration efforts.

The exploration program focused on the Prikounradskiy II and Yuzhnaya Ploschad areas, resulting in the discovery of copper-molybdenum-gold mineralization. Drilling revealed intervals of low to medium grade copper zones, with some areas containing higher grade zones. The results highlight the potential for expanding the mineral inventory within the Pribrezhniy Project License, with significant mineralization identified.

Drill core samples were analyzed at the SGS laboratory in Balkhash, Kazakhstan, to determine copper, molybdenum, and gold content. Quality control measures were applied to ensure accurate results. A total of 1119 samples were analyzed, with the core duplicates from high-grade zones to be assayed in early 2025. These results will help assess the grade variability in the mineralization zones.

IG Asia’s management expressed excitement over the initial drilling results, indicating the potential to add significant mineral inventory to the existing deposits. The company plans to conduct further exploration in the Pribrezhniy Project, including new target generation and diamond core drilling. Additionally, hydrogeological and seismic surveys will be conducted to support ongoing pre-feasibility work, with a focus on improving mineralization continuity.

Volodymyr Buchynskyy, VP of Exploration at IG Asia, has validated and approved the scientific and technical information contained in the press release. As a qualified person under NI 43-101, he provided oversight during the exploration program in 2024. The company’s forward-looking statements are based on current expectations and involve risks and uncertainties, reflecting management’s beliefs and assumptions about future results or events.
