Ericsson's Q4 profit increased by 43%, plans to increase dividend, positive.

Swedish telecom giant Ericsson saw a 43% increase in net income for the fourth quarter, reaching 4.88 billion Swedish Kronor. Earnings per share also rose to 1.44 Kronor from 1.02 Kronor. EBITA was up to 8.6 billion Kronor, with adjusted EBITA at 10.2 billion Kronor. Sales increased to 72.9 billion kronor, with a 2% organic growth and significant increases in North America, Europe, and Latin America. The company also plans to propose a dividend of 2.85 kronor per share for 2024, higher than the previous year’s dividend.
