Swiss market slightly up, SMI gained 0.18%, with some individual stocks seeing gains and losses.

The Switzerland market closed slightly higher on Friday, with the SMI gaining 0.18% to close at 12,287.28. Adecco and SIG Group were among the top gainers, climbing 2.36% and 2.05% respectively. Givaudan, despite reporting a significant increase in full-year net income, ended down 3.12%. SGS and Partners Group saw losses of 1.51% and 1.03% respectively. The HCOB Eurozone Composite PMI for January 2025 rose to 50.2, beating expectations, while the Manufacturing PMI increased to 46.1 and the Services PMI dipped slightly to 51.4.
