Nissan Motor reports significant decline in global production and sales in December 2024

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. reported a 19.3% decline in global production in December 2024, with 220,710 units produced. For the entire year, production decreased by 8.7% to 3,144,470 units. Sales also dropped by 7.9% to 292,517 units in December and by 0.8% to 3,348,687 units for the year. Exports from Japan fell by 21.6% in December and by 8.3% for the full year. On Wednesday, Nissan’s stock closed at $5.33, up 0.38% on the OTC Markets.
