Wells Fargo CEO and President Charles Scharf approved for $31.2 million compensation in 2024. Salary includes $2.5 million base and $28.7 million variable, with $7.2 million in cash and $21.5 million in equity. Company credited Scharf for strengthening risk and control infrastructure, driving financial performance with $5.37 earnings per share (11% increase from 2023), and returning $25 billion to shareholders. Quarterly dividend per share also increased by 15%.
