CARBIOS receives €42.5 million in subsidies for biorecycling plant construction, additional funding discussions ongoing

CARBIOS receives approval from the European Commission for the ‘Circular Economy’ State aid scheme, allowing the payment of €42.5 million in subsidies for the Longlaville biorecycling plant construction. The aid scheme aims to support chemical recycling of plastic waste, reducing the industry’s carbon footprint. CARBIOS also secured €30 million under the France 2030 national ‘Plastics Recycling’ call and €12.5 million from the Grand-Est Region, subject to the approval of the aid program.
