Equifax declares $0.39 quarterly dividend, but shares fall 7% on weak 2025 guidance

Equifax Inc (EFX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.39 per share, payable on March 14, 2025, to shareholders of record as of Feb. 21, 2025. Shares fell nearly 7% after 2025 guidance missed estimates. Projected adjusted EPS for 2025 is $7.45 on revenue of $5.95 billion, below Wall Street’s expectations of $9.07 EPS on $6.33 billion revenue. Q4 2024 revenue rose 7% YoY to $1.42 billion, with net income up 31% YoY to $174 million. CEO Mark Begor highlighted a 58% increase in free cash flow and plans for growth in 2025.
