Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal and CEO of Affirm, attended the Sun Valley Conference. Affirm shares surged 16% after exceeding Q2 revenue expectations and revealing a profit. Earnings were 23 cents per share, beating the expected 15-cent loss. Revenue hit $866 million, up 47% from a year ago, with $10.1 billion in gross merchandise volume. The company aims for GAAP profitability by the end of fiscal Q4.
