Island Passage Exploration Limited (IPX) has been exploring the Isina exploration license (EL02) in Papua New Guinea with partner Isina Resource Holdings Ltd (IRHL). In 2024, IPX completed extensive mineral exploration programs and announced the commencement of the 2025 exploration campaign. Key highlights include financing of USD $2.5 million and the discovery of high-grade gold-silver-copper vein systems. The 2025 campaign will focus on defining advanced targets for drilling.

The 2025 exploration campaign is set to complete first pass sampling and improve sample density in key areas. Four high priority targets have been identified: Isina, Enara, Tanka, and Marai. IPX plans to drill test several of these targets in Q3 and Q4 of 2025. Co-Founder and CEO of IPX, Donald McInnes, highlighted the successful 2024 exploration campaign, stating it was the most significant program on Bougainville since the 1970s.

Isina Resource Holdings Ltd. (IRHL) has been instrumental in opening up the Isina exploration license for exploration for the first time in Bougainville’s history. With promising results so far, IRHL and IPX are confident in making a significant discovery in 2025. The partnership between the companies has been crucial for economic sustainability and community development in the region.
