Stocks are trading mixed, with the S&P 500 down -0.37%, Dow Jones up +0.02%, and Nasdaq down -0.85%. Futures are also lower. Last Friday saw sharp losses due to negative economic data. Magnificent Seven stocks are down, with Meta, Tesla, and Microsoft leading the losses.

The Trump administration imposed measures against China, causing Chinese shipping stocks to fall. Stock investors are eyeing Nvidia’s earnings report and a busy US economic calendar. Markets discount a 2% chance of a rate cut at the next FOMC meeting.

Overseas markets are mixed, with the Euro Stoxx 50 down -0.54%. Interest rates see T-notes up +5 ticks, but yields down. Swaps show a 98% chance of an ECB rate cut. US stock movers include Apple up +0.5% and Microsoft down over -1%.
