Cisco Systems and Nvidia Corp. have announced an expanded partnership to deliver advanced AI solutions for enterprises. The collaboration will integrate networking portfolios and focus on high-performance, low-latency, and energy-efficient connectivity across data centers, clouds, and users. This partnership aims to simplify AI infrastructure management and offer greater flexibility to customers.

Cisco will develop data center switches using the NVIDIA Spectrum Ethernet platform, creating an open ecosystem for customers. The companies will also streamline AI adoption by creating and validating NVIDIA Cloud Partner and Enterprise Reference Architectures. Businesses can optimize their AI investments using existing management tools, spanning front and back-end networks.

Currently, Cisco is trading premarket at $64.81 on the Nasdaq, up 2.48 percent or $1.57. This joint effort between Cisco and Nvidia will allow organizations to meet the demands of AI workloads and enhance their AI infrastructure management.
