CNBC partners with Statista for the third year to rank the world’s top fintech companies. Applications are open for companies worldwide, with a special focus on the U.K., the largest fintech market in Europe.

Fintech startups in the U.K. raised $3.6 billion in venture capital last year, ranking second globally and first in Europe. Revolut, Europe’s biggest fintech unicorn, holds a $45 billion valuation. Companies can apply for consideration by Statista, with a deadline of April 25, 2025, for submissions.

Successful companies will be listed based on their business model, with new categories including insurance technology. Last year’s list featured well-known brands like Mastercard, Ant Group, Nubank, Klarna, Primer, and Stash.
