Nasdaq Logs Another Triple-Digit Drop

Stocks were mostly lower today, as the Dow added 159 points but the Nasdaq saw its fourth straight loss ahead of Nvidia’s earnings report. The S&P 500 also extended its losing streak, with the Cboe Volatility Index near 20 and the 10-year Treasury yield falling below 4.3%.
Oil futures fell to their lowest level of the year due to U.S. tariff concerns impacting demand, despite support from new Iran sanctions. The most active April-dated West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 1.5% to settle at $69.93 per barrel. Gold prices also fell to a one-week low after reaching a record high on Monday.
