ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. received FDA approval for a prefilled syringe format of Purified Cortrophin Gel. The syringe will be available in 40 USP units/0.5 mL and 80 USP units/mL single-dose options, making administration easier for patients. This new presentation complements the existing vials of Cortrophin Gel. The company plans to launch the prefilled syringe in the second quarter of 2025, expanding their Rare Disease portfolio.
