From GlobeNewswire: 2025-03-04 10:48:00
Urbana Corporation is making progress with its drill program in the Urban Township Project in Quebec. Five holes totaling 1,503 meters have been completed, intersecting a sequence of volcanic lithologies with mineralization containing iron sulphides and visible gold. The drilling is on track to be completed in mid-March.
The current drill program is focusing on an area with no historical drill holes, intersecting volcanic rocks and gabbros similar to those hosting the nearby Windfall deposit. The program aims to follow up on gold mineralization near the claim boundary of Osisko Mining and Bonterra Resources, targeting the Mazere fault structure.
Located between the Windfall and Barry gold deposits, Urbana’s project in Quebec is accessible by road and near existing infrastructure. Additional data in the northern sector shows potential for a second drill program in late summer. Interested parties can access PDF documents on the company website.
Technical aspects of Urbana’s drilling program have been reviewed and approved by Qualified Person Mathieu Stephens. For further information, contact Elizabeth Naumovski, Investor Relations.
