Walmart and Coca-Cola, both Dividend Kings, announced dividend raises on the same day. Walmart raised its payout by 13% to nearly $0.24 per share and reported a 4% revenue increase to almost $180 billion for the fourth quarter. Coca-Cola increased its quarterly dividend by 5% to $0.51 per share and saw a 6% increase in net revenue to $11.5 billion for the same period. Both companies are reliable income stocks with long histories of dividend payments. Walmart’s dividend will be paid on April 7, while Coca-Cola’s will be paid on April 1, yielding under 1% and 2.9%, respectively.
