Eloro Resources Ltd. reports high-grade silver intersections in drilling at Iska Iska, with hole DSB-75 returning 962.23 g Ag/t over 9.75m within a wider zone of 34.50m grading 440.09 g Ag/t. The frequency of high-grade silver values greater than 50 g Ag/t has increased significantly, highlighting the importance of infill drilling for accurate grade estimates.
The company is pleased to announce further assay results from its diamond drilling program at Iska Iska in Bolivia. Hole DSB-75 has returned the highest grade and longest silver intersection in the potential starter pit area at Santa Barbara, with 135m grading 151.47g Ag/t within a wider 309m section grading 90.92 g Ag/t. The results indicate potential for more widespread high-grade silver at Iska Iska.
Infill drilling at Iska Iska is showing that formerly barren or low-grade mineralization areas actually contain higher grades and significantly longer widths than those in the current mineral resource model. The company plans to move forward with more infill and step-out drilling initiatives in newly defined high-grade metal zones to enhance the potential economic value in the next phase PEA study.
Dr. Osvaldo Arce, Eloro’s Executive VP Latin American Operations, highlights the significant silver grades intersected in hole DSB-75, confirming the continuity of high-grade silver mineralization at Santa Barbara. The drilling campaign continues to deliver consistent high-grade silver-tin-polymetallic mineralization, expanding the mineral resources beyond current limits.
Eloro Resources has an option to earn a 100% interest in the Iska Iska silver-tin polymetallic project in Bolivia. The project is a major silver-tin polymetallic porphyry-epithermal complex associated with a Miocene possibly collapsed/resurgent caldera. The company is conducting extensive drilling to define the grade and extent of the mineral resource in the area.
The discovery of high-grade tin mineralization in hole DSB-72 at Iska Iska suggests the presence of a large tin system adjacent to the silver-zinc-lead system. Eloro Resources is in a unique position to potentially have two world-class deposits on the same property. The company continues to explore and develop its gold and base-metal properties in Bolivia, Peru, and Quebec.
