In early trading, NVIDIA leads as the best-performing Dow component, up 3.1%, while Verizon is the worst performer, down 7.0%. Year to date, NVIDIA has lost 17.8% of its value, and Verizon has gained 8.1%.
Walt Disney is down 2.4%, and Amazon.com is up 1.5% on the day, making moves in the market.
