Hello Group (NASDAQ:MOMO) stock dropped 8% after disappointing Q4 earnings, with adjusted EPS at $0.18 below the expected $0.21. Revenue slightly beat estimates at $361.2 million, but still fell 12.2% from last year. Paying users declined, with Momo app users dropping to 5.7 million and Tantan app users falling to 0.9 million.

CEO Yan Tang acknowledged challenges in 2024 but expressed confidence in the company’s ability to navigate uncertainties. Despite declining user engagement, Hello Group forecasts Q1 2025 revenue between RMB 2.4 billion to RMB 2.5 billion ($329 million to $342.5 million), representing a year-over-year decline of 2.4% to 6.3%.
