Aduro Clean Technologies has signed a protocol agreement with NexGen Polymers to develop a demonstration plant using its Hydrochemolytic™ technology to convert low-value raw materials into resources for the 21st century. NexGen brings over 30 years of experience in polymer supply chain management to the partnership. Aduro is currently building its pilot HCT plant, with plans to scale up to a demonstration plant capable of processing 8,000 tons per year. The collaboration with NexGen aligns with Aduro’s goal of efficiently progressing its development program.
The protocol agreement includes three phases outlining key activities such as negotiating raw material services, site selection, and permitting for the demonstration plant. This collaboration will evaluate essential feasibility factors for site selection, logistics, and raw material supply, paving the way for Aduro’s commercialization strategy. Aduro’s CEO, Ofer Vicus, expressed excitement about working with NexGen to advance their commercialization strategy. NexGen’s President, Daniel Peretz, looks forward to exploring new technology with Aduro to promote plastic waste circularity.
