Jonathan Sorrell appointed as new CEO of Rathbones Group, succeeding Paul Stockton. Sorrell, currently president at Capstone Investment Advisors, will take on the role on 1 July 2025. Stockton, with Rathbones for 16 years, will retire on 30 September 2025 after serving as CEO since May 2019.

Stockton stated strong foundations have been laid for growth. Sorrell to join boards of Rathbones Group and Rathbones Investment Management. Chair Clive Bannister praises Sorrell’s leadership track record and strategic thinking. Stockton and Sorrell to work together for a successful transition.
