Insurance technology startup Ethos is considering an IPO with Goldman Sachs’ help. The Austin-based company was valued at $2.7 billion in a recent funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. CEO Peter Colis reported 50% revenue growth in 2024. Ethos offers users the ability to secure life insurance up to $3 million without a medical exam in just 10 minutes. Investors include SoftBank, General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital, Accel, Roc Nation, and Glade Brook Capital Partners. Ethos and Goldman declined to comment on the potential IPO.
