American Electric Power prices offering of 19.61 million shares at $102 per share

American Electric Power (AEP) has priced a registered underwritten offering of 19.61 million shares of its common stock at $102.00 per share. AEP entered into forward sale agreements with Citibank, N.A. and Barclays Bank PLC for the sale of these shares. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase an additional 2.94 million shares. Settlement of the forward sale agreements is expected by December 31, 2026. AEP may use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including capital contributions, acquisitions, or debt repayment.
