Stocks struggled today as the Conference Board’s consumer confidence index hits a 12-year low. The Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq managed slight gains. Solar stocks bounced back, while UniFirst stock fell after a buyout offer was dropped. Cloudflare stock received a rare double upgrade, while KB Home cut its revenue forecast. Oil prices remained flat, and gold prices rose ahead of President Trump’s tariff deadline.

In other news, CW Advisors acquired two East Coast practices, gaining $1.4 billion in assets. Russia and Ukraine agreed to a naval ceasefire in the Black Sea. Todd Salamone delved into the options market.
