Kolibri Global Energy's Q4 profit rises, production increases, revenue growth falls short of expectations.

Kolibri Global Energy (KGEI) saw a 56% increase in average production to 4,440 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the fourth quarter. The company’s net income for the quarter was $5.64 million, up from $4.8 million a year earlier. Despite a rise in revenue to $17.4 million, Kolibri fell short of Wall Street’s expectation of $17.9 million. The average price per barrel dropped to $54.32. CEO Wolf Regener highlighted cost efficiencies that allowed for increased production and revenue growth. Kolibri forecasted 2025 revenue between $75 million and $89 million, with shares up 33.1% YTD.
