Tether invests 10 million euros in Italian media company Be Water, acquiring a 30.4% stake. Be Water produces films, documentaries, and series addressing social issues and journalism. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino aims to support technology-driven innovation. Be Water aims to distribute content across various platforms with Tether’s help.
Be Water’s board to include Tether executives after restructuring. Capital infusion to upgrade digital infrastructure and expand content production. Plans to boost investigative journalism departments of Italian platforms Chora Media and Will Media. Tether’s ongoing investment drive fueled by $13 billion in profits and $113 billion in US Treasury holdings.
Tether’s recent investments include acquiring a stake in Juventus FC and seeking a majority stake in Adecoagro.
