Verizon up 1.5%, Goldman Sachs down 3.3%, positive for Verizon, negative for Goldman Sachs

Verizon Communications was the best performing Dow Jones component, up 1.5% in early trading with a 12.2% YTD gain. On the flip side, Goldman Sachs Group was the worst performer, down 3.3% for the day and 3.1% YTD. NVIDIA fell 2.4% while Johnson & Johnson rose 0.7%.
