Senator Marco Rubio warned that any attack on Guyana or Exxon’s assets in the disputed waters off the coast of South America would be a “bad day” for Venezuela. The warning comes as tensions escalate over the longstanding border dispute between Guyana and Venezuela. Venezuela has claimed ownership of the waters where Exxon is conducting oil exploration.
