The Japanese stock market ended a two-day winning streak, with the Nikkei 225 closing just below 38,000 points. Global markets are expected to see mild downside, following European and U.S. markets. The Nikkei dropped 0.60 percent on Thursday, with losses in automobile producers and mixed performances in financial and technology stocks.
