The South Korea stock market closed lower for the second consecutive session, dropping more than 85 points or 3.4 percent. The KOSPI ended just below 2,560 points and is expected to face further losses on Monday. Global markets are weak due to concerns over the world economy, with European and U.S. markets down. On Friday, the KOSPI fell sharply, with financial, technology, and automobile stocks taking a hit. Wall Street also saw a significant decline, with the Dow falling 715.80 points, NASDAQ dropping 481.01 points, and the S&P 500 losing 112.37 points. Oil prices fell, but still posted a weekly gain.
