Iron Oak Energy Solutions has acquired High Roller Sand, expanding its presence in the Permian Basin. High Roller’s facility in Winkler County, Texas, produces up to four million tonnes of proppant annually. This move aligns with Iron Oak Energy’s strategy to enhance service capabilities in the region. The Permian Basin, accounting for over half of US proppant demand, is experiencing growth due to increased proppant intensity and longer lateral wells. Iron Oak Energy now operates five large-scale facilities in the Permian Basin, solidifying its position as a leading proppant producer. High Roller executive vice-president Dave Frattaroli expressed excitement about joining Iron Oak Energy and providing customers with more supply chain options.
