PNE Group secures permits for two wind farms and a PV plant in Germany

German wind energy developer PNE Group has secured permits for two onshore wind farms in Hesse and a photovoltaic power plant in Brandenburg, Germany. The Herzhausen wind farm in central Hesse will have six turbines generating 33MW, while the Welsche-Lied wind farm in northern Hesse will produce 27.8MW. The Altlandsberg PV plant in Brandenburg will have 124MW capacity. Combined, these projects will generate 184.8MW, enough to power 73,000 households annually. PNE aims to expand its portfolio to 1.1GW by 2027 and has already sold its five solar projects in Romania. CEO Heiko Wuttke sees this as a step towards growth for the company.
