The launch of Amazon’s Kuiper Project satellites, meant to rival Elon Musk’s Starlink, was scrubbed due to bad weather. United Launch Alliance, using an Atlas V rocket, will announce a new launch date once approved. The project aims to provide high-speed, low-latency internet through a large satellite constellation. The FCC approved the deployment of 3,236 satellites, with half needing to be operational by July 30, 2026. Amazon has secured over 80 launches for the project, including from ULA, Arianespace, Blue Origin, and SpaceX. Meanwhile, Starlink is projected to generate over $12 billion in revenue by 2025.
