AHW offered multiple home warranty plans and coverage for a vast number of optional add-ons in over 40 states. However, as of December 2023, AHW seems to no longer be doing business and its website is down.

AHW Home Warranty Credentials
Regulatory or legal actions
Amazon Home Warranty has been the subject of multiple legal, regulatory and government actions, including a cease and desist order to prevent it from conducting business in the state of New Hampshire.
We found two cases against AHW filed in 2021, involving violations to the Consumer Fraud Act in New Jersey and Arizona. We also found references to a 2023 lawsuit filed by the Ohio Attorney General claiming violation of the Consumer Sales Practice Act and misrepresentation for not fulfilling advertised benefits of service contracts.
In addition, in August 2023, the New Hampshire Insurance Department ordered AHW to cease and desist from conducting business in the state. According to the order, the company failed to comply with New Hamphsire’s registration requirements and violated the state laws regarding consumer guaranty contracts.
