UK economy grew by 0.5% in February, led by services sector and manufacturing

The UK economy grew by 0.5% in February, rebounding from January’s lacklustre performance. Services sector growth led to a 0.6% increase in real GDP over the three months to February. Production output rose by 1.5%, with manufacturing driving growth. The total goods and services trade deficit narrowed to £1.0 billion, the lowest since July 2021. Imports increased by £2.8 billion, while goods exports remained stable.
