Melcor REIT's unitholders approved a plan of arrangement for acquisition and unit repurchase

Melcor Real Estate Investment Trust announced that Voting Unitholders voted in favor of a plan of arrangement for Melcor Developments Ltd. to acquire its unowned equity interest in Melcor REIT LP. The arrangement includes Melcor REIT using proceeds to repurchase and cancel all outstanding Units. The special resolution required approval by at least 66⅔% of votes cast by Voting Unitholders, represented by 81.814% of outstanding Voting Units. The Arrangement is expected to be completed by April 23, 2025, pending a Final Order from the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and satisfaction of closing conditions.
