Beiersdorf Q1 Group Sales Rise Despite Weak Americas; Confirms FY25 Outlook

Beiersdorf AG, the owner of Nivea, reported higher sales in the first quarter, reaching 2.691 billion euros, up 3.3% from last year. Sales in Europe increased by 1.8%, Africa/Asia/Australia by 9%, but Americas saw a slight decrease of 0.1%. The Consumer Business Segment grew by 1.9%, with the Derma business leading at 12.5% growth. NIVEA brand sales increased by 1.3%. Health Care business had organic sales growth of 10.8%, while tesa Business Segment recorded 10.7% organic sales growth. Beiersdorf maintains its fiscal 2025 outlook with 4-6% organic sales growth and adjusted EBIT margin above last year’s level.
