FNB has launched automated direct deposit switch capabilities to enhance digital banking services. This feature streamlines transferring payroll direct deposits during account opening. The goal is to simplify onboarding and attract new clients. FNB plans to introduce a service for transferring recurring debit transactions digitally later this year. This initiative stems from a partnership with fintech company Atomic. Customers can access this service through FNB’s eStore platform for a seamless banking experience. CEO Vincent J. Delie, Jr emphasizes FNB’s commitment to digital strategies for client acquisition and engagement. The direct deposit switch is available for new and existing FNB accounts, accessible online or through mobile banking. FNB recently inaugurated its $300m headquarters in Pittsburgh’s Lower Hill District.
