OpenAI is in talks to acquire AI coding tool Windsurf for $3 billion, its largest deal yet. Windsurf, formerly Codeium, was valued at $1.25 billion last year after a $150 million funding round. Investor interest in AI is high, with ChatGPT aiming for a $300 billion valuation and OpenAI acquiring Rockset.
