Pony AI partners with ComfortDelGro to deploy autonomous vehicles for daily commuting in Singapore. The initiative aligns with Singapore’s plan to integrate autonomous mobility into public transport. The companies plan to introduce autonomous mobility services on fixed routes in the Punggol area pending regulatory approval. Singapore’s Ministry of Transport confirmed plans to roll out autonomous vehicles in public housing estates, starting in Punggol by year-end. Pony AI already operates fully driverless robotaxi services in several Chinese cities.

Pony AI and ComfortDelGro’s collaboration in Singapore follows a previous Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024. The partnership began testing services in Guangzhou in March 2025 before the Singapore launch. Pony AI’s ride-hailing platform saw a 136% increase in users year-over-year with a satisfaction rating above 4.8 out of 5.

In the Middle East, Pony AI partners with Qatar’s transportation provider, Mowasalat “Karwa,” to deploy autonomous vehicles. The move strengthens Pony AI’s presence in the region, adding to existing partnerships with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority and Uber. Pony AI’s stock performance has been positive, gaining over 44% year-to-date.

Pony AI’s stock was trading lower by 3.52% at $19.98. The company’s expansion into Singapore and the Middle East, along with its successful stock performance, highlight its growing global footprint. The partnership with ComfortDelGro in Singapore aims to offer driverless rides in Punggol soon, aligning with Singapore’s autonomous mobility plans.
