Microsoft's Copilot AI assistant integrates GPT-4o for enhanced capabilities, competing with Google and OpenAI

Microsoft unveiled Copilot, its AI assistant, using GPT-4o to enhance text generation and voice support capabilities. The update will allow Copilot to assist with tasks such as opening apps and editing photos, visible on the Windows 11 taskbar, amidst Big Tech’s generative AI competition with Google and OpenAI.

The stock market rewards AI innovation, with Nvidia briefly joining the trillion-dollar club thanks to its AI technology. Other tech giants like Meta, Google, Apple, and Microsoft have seen stock price increases due to AI investments. Microsoft also announced Copilot Plus PCs with new features like Recall, Live Captions, Cocreator, and Windows Studio Effects.
