Citigroup has appointed ex-Nomura veteran Kentaro Kiyota and internal candidate Yuichi Nagasaka as co-heads of investment banking in Japan. This move is aimed at strengthening the bank’s position in the country’s competitive market. Kiyota brings extensive experience from his time at Nomura, while Nagasaka’s insider knowledge will be valuable in driving growth.
